Project Mining Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the mobile game Project Mining ("the game") uses, why, and the choices you have. The game is published by Nuffy Studios, a Swedish sole proprietorship based in Stockholm, Sweden ("we", "us"), which is responsible for the personal data described here. Summary
- You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress is saved only on your device.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may process device and ad data as described below.
- Where the law requires it, Google's consent form asks you before personalized ads are shown.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone only if you allow them.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress (depth, gold coins, gems, inventory, upgrades, camp storage, missions and character style) and your settings (brightness, ad choices, reminder choices) in the app's storage on your device. This data is not sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows banner ads, occasional full-screen ads after selling, and optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch for in-game supplies. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- the device advertising ID (Android Advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA if you allow tracking),
- IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information such as model, operating system and language,
- ad interactions such as views and taps.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings > Ad Privacy > Privacy Options. Without consent, Google may show limited or non-personalized ads.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings. Google's use of this data is covered by Google's own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Purchases
In-app purchases, such as Premium No Ads or gem packs, are processed by Google Play or Apple's App Store under their terms. We receive confirmation of what you bought so the game can unlock it, but never your payment details.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your phone, for example when your free supply chest is ready or after a few days away. They are created on the device itself; no data is sent to us or to anyone else to make them. You can turn them off in the game under Settings > Notifications or in your phone's settings.
Support information
In Settings > Copy Support Info you can copy a short technical report (game version, screen size, device type and progress numbers) to include in a bug report. It is only shared if you choose to paste and send it to us.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we do not store your personal data on our own servers, most requests are handled by deleting the game's data on your device or through Google's and Apple's tools. You can also contact us, and you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the game or on its store page.
